At WE CREATE SPACE, we are committed to equipping leaders, change-makers and allies with new tools and practices for managing their own mental health. 

Mental health is our relationship to – and how we come to experience – our thoughts, our feelings, our emotions, and our behaviours.

We believe that our mental health and well-being play a fundamental role in enabling us to reach our full growth potential as individuals, and as a society.

 

This means becoming more aware of, understanding and taking responsibility for our beliefs, thoughts, actions and behaviours (ie. looking after our mental and emotional health).

OUR WELLBEING NEEDS ARE UNIQUE AND INTERSECTIONAL.

The current mental health epidemic demonstrates the distinct lack of easily accessible and effective long-term well-being solutions and preventative support available.

We need to start addressing the unique well-being and mental health needs of our communities, long before issues become life-threatening.

The path towards healing our communities starts with YOU and ME. As individuals we need to take responsibility for the part we play in shaping the world.

 

We need to be able to spot our own triggers. We need to find self-care tools that work for us, and commit to healthier ways of engaging with ourselves, and each other. Only then can we start to make an impact on the wider society, grow as people, and reach our own unique potential. 

The good news is that we don't need to go on this journey alone, and it doesn't have to feel so heavy. We believe that getting to know yourself should be playful and fun!
