TUES 4TH OCT :  LGBTQ+  : ONLINE

Queer Leadership 101

How to Practice Anti-Racism within LGBTQ+ Leadership and Allyship.

A common mistake when discussing LGBTQ+ inclusion is generalising experiences and ignoring intersectional differences. When we don’t address the specific issues affecting LGBTQ+ people of colour, we turn a blind eye to the implicit bias and historical conditioning that perpetuates racism, even within the Queer Community. In this webinar we'll explore the potential for synergy across our movements and the opportunity to drive even greater change as LGBTQ+ leaders and allies within our communities and organisations.

WHY DO WE EXIST?

We can’t create the inclusive culture and community that we all desire until we start healing ourselves and become more aware as leaders. Once we understand why we behave a certain way, we can use that knowledge as fuel to instigate positive change, becoming more powerful with the decisions we make, and the actions we take. We take an active role in shaping our own lives and lead the way forward for others.

About our mission

OUR APPROACH.

We create very intimate, compassionate and confidential spaces. We use a tried-and-tested sequence of interactive workshops to empower individuals with the necessary tools and practices for managing their own well-being. The workshops offer the unique opportunity to openly share and learn from each other’s' past experiences without judgement, building resilience together in the face of our collective adversity.
