Rupert

Rupert is a Therapeutic Social Worker and Family Therapist working with young people in the NHS. He is particularly interested in how film, storytelling, podcasts, and pop culture can open up conversations in mental health in teaching, therapy, and training. Rupert has spent over fifteen years working in public sector care, including a decade as a Social Worker alongside young people and families navigating trauma, exclusion and mental health challenges. Rupert keeps a creative practice alongside his clinical work, having directed and produced short films, and currently developing podcasts and workshops that explore how lived and clinical experience can inform one another. Rupert is a group facilitator and public speaker, drawn to spaces where conversation, reflection, and story can shift how we understand ourselves and each other.
