Mark Travis Rivera
Mark is an LGBTQ+ activist, performer, writer, facilitator and DEI speciality. He founded an integrated dance company in 2009 for disabled and non-disabled dancers; inspired by the fact that he was born with cerebral palsy, which affects his mobility skills. After ten years of remarkable dancing, Rivera decided to dissolve the marked dance project and continue working as an independent disabled choreographer. A dynamic, innovative, and driven speaker, Mark discusses intersectional identities and body-image from a Latino, gay, gender non-conforming, and disabled perspective.
