Andrea Knowles is the founder of Staff Equality Networks, a consultancy dedicated to strengthening staff networks and advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging in workplaces across the UK. With a background as a nurse and former NHS EDI Lead, Andrea brings both lived experience and professional expertise to shaping inclusive cultures where employees feel represented, valued, and empowered. Alongside leading her business, Andrea is a public speaker, trustee, and advocate for racial justice, LGBTQIA+ equality, and disability rights. She has advised national organisations, delivered keynote speeches on intersectionality, and serves as a judge for the 2025 Queer Student Awards. Her work is driven by the belief that true belonging happens when all voices are heard and barriers to participation are dismantled.
