Calvin, a native of Bermuda, has dedicated his career to promoting health and mental wellness within marginalized communities. Since relocating to the U.K., Calvin has worked as a support worker, health advisor, and sexual violence advocate, gaining invaluable insights into the ways society impacts the most vulnerable and marginalized populations within the healthcare and justice systems. Calvin's passion for Intersectionality is fueled by his own identity as a Black, gay male with learning difficulties. Drawing on his own experiences of both privilege and oppression, Calvin strives to create a more just and equitable society. His work in health and social care is a testament to his commitment to empowering and advocating for those who have been historically underserved and overlooked.
