Josh Rivers is a podcaster, communications professional and public figure, who has been doing LGBTQ community-building work since 2016. He is the creator and host of Busy Being Black, the award-winning podcast exploring queer Black cultures, identities and experiences, and volunteers as UK Black Pride's Head of Cultural Partnerships. Josh has worked for international LGBTQ human rights charities Kaleidoscope Trust and The Commonwealth Equality Network, volunteered for OutRight Action International's Young People's Engagement Committee and co-founded Series Q, a network for LGBTQ entrepreneurs. He was named one of the UK's most influential communications professionals in PRWeek's 2022 Power Book and he is nominated in the Top 10 for the 2023 British LGBT Awards' Outstanding Contribution to LGBT Life.
