Mayra is a proud first-generation Latina lesbian psychologist and computer engineer from Peru, she uses her unique perspective to bring attention to the experiences of marginalized communities. Mayra is also a passionate mental health advocate and volunteers her time coaching women+ individuals to address gender disparities in tech. In addition to her advocacy work, she provides free psychological support to refugees and migrants who have experienced trauma. Mayra is an experienced speaker on topics related to intersectionality, mental health, and trauma, using her expertise to empower and inspire others.
