Sabah

Sabah, a proud and passionate trans, brown, and hairy activist, is the co-founder of Trans Pride Brighton in 2013, and was celebrated in 2015 as one of the most influential LGBT people in Britain. Their extensive work and presence spans across the UK and Europe, including speaking at TEDx Brixton, ILGA Europe, and IDAHOT Brussels. Sabah has been a youth worker for trans youth since 2014 and is currently at Gendered Intelligence, a trustee for Inclusive Mosque Initiative, and co-founder of Colours Youth Network, which supports LGBTQ+ POC young people in the UK. In 2021, Sabah won the Gay Times Future Fighters Honour and was named National Advisor for LGBT Health Award in 2022. Their interests include fostering cats and talking to houseplants. Sabah's book, 'Supporting Trans People of Colour: How To Make Your Practice Inclusive', is out now. They are an expert in topics such as anti-racism, intersectionality, leadership, mental health, wellbeing, identity, faith, and activism, and can provide valuable insights and perspectives in these areas.
