Taofique

Taofique is an actor, fitness and wellbeing coach, and is an LGBTQ+ activist, performer, and writer.


He has worked on stage and screen for over 20 years with a passion for his work to provide more visinility and representation of black queer men. As a former board member of Impulse London he has created sexual health and mental wellbeing promotions for gay men particularly those living with HIV within the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) community. He is a Barrys bootcamp coach with over 10 years of experience within the fitness industry, and was Selected Men’s Health best coach of 2020 for his community work. His work has seen him collaborate with 56 Dean Street, Gilead Sciences, Pink new and Aids Health crae foundation, and is the wellbeing and fitnnes contrinutor for Gay London Life Magazine. Taofique discusses intersectional identities, stigma, welness and body-image from a Black queer and Positive perspective. He is also currently completing his MSc in Psychology.
