A Queer Journey can often take us far from the places we once called home, but it's in the nature of LGBTQIA+ existence that we seek out and build new family wherever we go.
Shimar Guyo is a We Create Space collective member who moved from her home in the Philippines to study and fell in love with the culture and lifestyle of Barcelona, where she continues to live to this day. Through the challenges of learning a new language and trying to find Queer Community, moving across the globe gave Shimar the courage to transition and live her life as a proud trans woman.
