Body Doubling

Body doubling is a strategy utilised by some neurodiverse people, especially those with ADHD, to improve productivity and minimise distractions when completing challenging tasks. Body doubling involves working on a task with another person present, either in-person or virtually, to anchor the neurodiverse person in the present and provide motivation when they struggle to sustain attention. The company of another person can also simply make the task itself less monotonous.
