Papa Kojo is a distinguished intersex and gender nonconforming human rights activist, hailing from Ghana. With his passion for the cause, he has served as the programs coordinator for Rightify Ghana, a prominent human rights organization in Ghana that strives to bring attention to and document cases of abuse of members of the LGBTIQ community. Additionally, Papa works as the Executive Secretary for the Intersex Movement Ghana, where he leads the movement of intersex people in Ghana, advocating for an end to intersex genital mutilation and discriminatory laws against the intersex community. Papa Kojo Ampofo Duodu is an outspoken advocate for the liberation, rights, and inclusion of trans and intersex people across sub-Saharan Africa. He is also well-versed in several other critical topics, including workplace allyship, intersectionality, LGBTQ+ history, discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community, identity, community building, activism, and trauma.
